Movember has got us thinking.....

Hello everyone,

We have launched the Anjalis Boutique blog this month. Exciting times lie ahead, where we will be regularly informing you about news from the boutique as well as some general topics we want to discuss with you.

We want to hear from you in regards to our posts and please leave your comments because we want to know what you think.

Most people will have heard about Movember. Basically, the Mo, slang for moustache and November come together each year for Movember.

Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember first clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month.  The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for cancers that affect men.  Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.

So has anyone been supporting this cause?  It’s a great idea, brining unity to  men worldwide.

But, my main question, in regards to men and facial hair and let’s throw in chest hair too, is if women would be happy for their other half to make the change? Lets be honest, especially in the Asian community, where the bushy moustache has been subject to ridicule for younger generations, there seems to be little support out there for donning the recent 'Salman Khan' look in movie Dabangg.

What about chest hair? Men seem to be more accepting to showing a little chest hair these days. Women what do you think? A fashion faux pa or fashion disaster?

On another note, Eid is around the corner!!! An advanced Eid Mubarik to all our Muslim friends.  If you still have not found the perfect Eid outfit, please do pop into our store on 451 Victoria Road, Glasgow tel: 0141 443 4343, we are hear to make you look and feel fabulous in all the latest trend garments.

Take care and wrap up this winter J
